I have a few simple questions for the CDJ 1000 MK3, Traktor users.
Currently I'm playing on a DJM 800 / CDJ 1000 MK3 setup with CD's. I want to try out a new set up with a Macbook pro, Traktor NI Audio 10 and Traktor (scratch) pro > with the DJM 800 & CDJ MK3's. Before I buy the Traktor NI Audio 10, I'd like to know a few things:
1.
When I'm using timecode CD's, am I able to see and save cue points which I set up in traktor?
So when I'm going to a gig with, let's say, 3 cue points in a track, am I able to use them as with other midi controllers?
2.
Can I still see the waveform of a track in my CDJ 1000 MK3 when playing with timecode CD's?
3.
Is there a certain latency or delay in the CDJ 1000 MK3? If yes, is it bearable (in comparison with the regular CD mode)?
4.
When I record a mix with the integrated traktor function, will traktor pickup all the effects & other movements made with the CDJ & the DJM 800 when assuming I've correctly setup the DJM 800, CDJ 1000 MK3's & NI Audio 10?

May 26, 2015 of Traktor Pro 2.8.1. I have also updated firmware & drivers for DJM 900. Can only get output on Channel 1 of the mixer, Traktor will not allow me options to route the decks to other channels. It only gives me the line 1 & Line 2 option or not connected? Whatever I do I can only get signal to channel 1. Feb 16, 2010 The CDJ-2000/900 can operate in traditional MIDI mode, and native HID mode. Scratch Live doesn't allow mapping of jog wheel in traditional MIDI mode, Torq and Virtual DJ do I believe. Native HID support will allow full jog/platter control though. However, native HID mode in Scratch Live for the CDJ-2000/900 is not currently available.

The mixer’s built-in sound card can read Traktor Vinyl or Traktor Timecode CDs, so you can just plug the turntables or CDJs directly into the mixer and you’ll be ready to control each deck in Traktor with timecode. The mixer also has a built-in Direct Thru, so you can switch quickly and seamlessly between using Traktor with timecode and using regular vinyl records or audio CDs with the mixer’s channel selector switch.
